Time Keeps On Slipping

So, it's a new year. The importance of the night of New Years Eve all seems to weigh on how well your year went--if it went poorly you're usually rather excited to end it, but when it goes well you feel a little less invested in the pomp and circumstance. It's not that you're clinging to the past, but the passage of time seems less significant when you're happy with where you're at. Time is relative.
