My love affair with Carven continues with Pre-Fall. Pre-Fall from the New York collections mostly bored me, when the backdrops weren't downright frightening (empty warehouses and dirty beaches can be very distracting from the clothes), but Paris is far less disappointing. Carven was such a clean collection from the stream-lined layers to the fresh-faced models with their slick-backed hair. Pieces from Carven I'll be coveting: those clog wedges and wide belts. Styling inspiration to copy: monochromatic skirt suits and tee shirts under blazers. See the rest of the collection here.
