It's been too long since I wielded by exacto knife in the name of collages, but the summer has been incredibly hectic and I've struggled to be a good hostess which means less personal downtime. Guy Catling's work combining colorful patterns and vintage photographs is inspiring me to get back into the swing of things. Stuffy bearded men and mysterious ancient stonework gets a quirky facelift under his creative touch. Each new collage is bold, eye-catching, and colored with a healthy dose of humor.
